Koa Wood Finish Ply - The sustainably harvested finish ply adds strength and return, while creating a one-of-a-kind look that’s only possible with koa. Koa, or “warrior” wood, is prized for its rich colors and unique grain patterns. It was first used 1,000 years ago by the native Hawaiians to build the original surfboards.
Recycled Glass - Crushed recycled glass is used in our clear re-grip to replace highly processed grip tapes - allows the natural grain to remain visible, while providing better performance than the silica bead-based alternatives.
Water-Based Finishes - All Arbor skates are produced using a water-based sanding sealer and final finish as the best way to help protect the air we all breath, especially when skating…
Recycled Plastic Risers - All Arbor completes are shipped with recycled plastic risers, which helps both Arbor and our customers reduce our reliance on petroleum and contribution to land fills.
Reclaimed Wood By-product - all wood by-product created during the production of our skates is reclaimed for use in other Arbor products or by outside companies, which helps stretch a key resource, while reducing the strain on land fills and forests.
